These collars are NOT adjustable and are specially made for training dogs to lead well and not pull on the handler.

Much safer than a slip collar that can damage the airways. The collar gradually tightens around the neck when pulled, but stops pulling when the amount of 'martingale' is at its end, where the two D-rings or square rings meet.

Important note

The thicker and/or wider the collar is, the longer it will take to soften up. The rope needs to settle into its new form in order to become soft. Rinse the collar out with water to speed up the process. Putting it on your dog’s neck will make it soft, especially when they are in the sun.
